LOOLA CAMP WAS GREATTTTTT :D

Day 1
We arrived at Loola Resort @ abt 12pm (Bintan is behind Singapore by 1 hour) and had lunch(:
We were starving after like 3 hours of travelling.
After lunch, Alpha (my group) went for BOOM NETTING! It's like jumping off 2.5 storeys from a boat into the sea WHILE the boat is moving~ Haha, it was seriously great.
As we said; it was a suicide trial.
When we came back, we played VolleyBall till dinner time and after dinner, we talked & crapped till about 12ish and then we went to sleep.

Day 2!
We woke up @ abt 7.45am and had breakfast!
After breakfast, we had abt half an hour of solitude for reflection.
I found a really peaceful spot where I could hear the soft ocean breeze ruffling through my hair and the rustling leaves of the trees above. Looking around just to see ocean, after ocean, after ocean.
After that, Alpha went for elements of Nature.
There was a semi-difficult, yet all the same FUN, obstacle course and then we climbed a 10m coconut tree:D Man, was that scary!
After that, we went for lunch and then headed off for the Flying-Fox-Into-The-Water.
Jumping off 7 storeys isn't really that easy, but all these experiences were once-in-a-lifetime ones.
After that, Alpha 1 went kayaking to a certain spot while Alpha 2 (my group) went orientering to that spot as well, but this time, walking through the forested areas.
At that spot, we rotated roles and Alpha 2 kayaked back to the campsite while Alpha 1 walked back.
Kayaking is really really fun, I tell you. I think it's one of the most challenging and interesting water sports.
When Raphael and I were in the open waters, all I could see was just water EVERYWHERE I looked.
Man, I don't get to see this in Singapore AT ALL.
After we got back, we volleyballed and then bathed and then we had dinner!
After dinner was the campfire, Alpha's performance was the best(: definitely!

It was this Loola Idol thing. We had a flashback to the auditions where 4 people sang; Edgar, Roy, Zaim & Hugo.

Edgar sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
Hugo took too long to introduce himself that security was called.
Zaim sang Baa Baa Black Sheep and had the security chase him because he was begging one the judges to let him go to LoolaWood.
& Roy lip-synched while I sang Mary Had a Little Lamb.

We went back to the finals, I sang She Will Be Loved behind a tree and Roy won.
Then as the victory song, I sang it again, but this time I was caught by security and Roy was disqualified and then Edgar won. Really complicating, but really funny!
Slept @ abt 11pm.

Day 3
We woke up, and played volleyball till about 10.30, and then left the campsite and we came back to singapore at about 6.15pm.

Lots more happened, but I can't type it all out.

In a nutshell, Loola Camp was really fantastic!

I had a fever yesterday so I didn't go for vocal.
But when my fever broke, I left my house and reached the music room at 4.20.
Somehow, vocal was dismissed at 4?
So i came all the way (for no apparent reason LOL)
So we practised for 10 minutes and then my mom came to fetch me and bring me to the BBQ and Uncle Bernard's place.

Man was the BBQ boring at first
But when we started playing games(:
Man was that fun!

Fuzzy Wuzzy!
Light shines from blah blah blah!
How many maa maa jumped over the wall!
I walked from blah to blah to blah to!

YOU GUYS ROCK!
Thanks for making the BBQ so fun(:
Hope we guys can sit together for the 6pm mass and then the lenten night thingy.
Oh we left his place around 10.15?
Some people hitched a ride of others (haha, including me)

Kota Tinggi Trip(:

Hey guys(:

I got back from Kota Tinggi on wednesday afternoon, hence my recent dis-online-ness(:
Haha.

Well it was a 4D-3N camp at the stupid muddy forest.
So let me begin...

Day 1 (Sunday 7am)
We all reported to school around then and I was caught for eating in the hall because i was rushing to school heh.
I didn't pack everything so in the morning we were like all packing last minute.
LOL

We left school around 8?
Arrived at lunch time over at the campsite.
We had a lunch FULL of flies.
Ugh.
After that, we had games and activities.

Rebirth was like to carry your other 17 group members, 1 by 1, through a suspended tractor tyre without him touching the tyre at all.
So my arms ached from then on LOL.

Low Rope Training was like to carry over your other 17 group members (sadly once again) over a bar around my height. Thing is, he wasn't allowed to pull himself up by his arms or legs.
So these games were all to train our trust within the group. heh. alot of that huh?

Indiana Jones was these 7 floating platforms on this muddy pond and we had to get our group members over to the other side with the other group and their instructing sabotaging the stability of the platforms.
It was rather fun but we all wanted to go but it was only 3 per platform so we had to PATIENTLY wait

River Cascading!! We rode on rubber tubes down a rocky river with a nice fast flowing current(:
Painful, but fun(:

Washed up and went for a jungle night walk which was really scary but fun(:
just imagine walking around the jungle with no source of light ( not even a torch light) in the middle of the night..sayy 12am?

Slept at 1.

Day 2
Trekked up Gunung Panti.
And from the start of the hike it was raining.
So we basically trekked up on mud.
I was just wearing a shirt and a pair of jeans so obviously i was drenched and freezing cold.
Smart eh?
We were supposed to spend the night up there but due to very bad weather, we unpitched our tents and brought everything down.
Poor Darren had to undergo mental torture to carry the tent itself down (not even in a bag) all the way down the 2 hour hike.
Slept at around 12 (while laughing insanely!)

Day 3!
Supposed to trek up to Pelapah Waterfalls but I was feverish and had a headache.
PLATOON S! (sick people) cleaned up mastenes(if that's how you spell it), jerricans(if that's how you spell it as well) and the tents.

Our section came down and then we had the campfire/appreciation session.
I dressed up as Captain G(you guys know the rest LOL)Man.
Spent the night in the conference room.
Woke up at 4.30 and walked without glasses to the toilet SO FAR AWAY.
LOL.

Day 4!
Operation Restoration.
Basically helped clean up the campsite and put back everything in order.
Left at around 11.
Got back at around 2.
Came home and relaxed and stuff.

i'm sorry i haven't been posting.
haha. my blog's like completely dead and screwed.
i have so much going on that i can't type it all out LOL

either way, school's been awesome.
not for some subjects and stuff.
but overall, i have darn good friends in my class now.
even tho some can be rather jerkish.
i'm on good terms with everyone in my class(:

i'm going to KOTA TINGGI for a Sec 3 camp this Sunday.
I'll be away till Wed afternoon, so pardon my absence for those 4 days okay people?
